Employment Bridging

At Stillwater Consulting, our goal is to not only deliver relevant training to your community, but to also ensure that those new skills translate into long-term, rewarding employment opportunities. Our employment bridging programs are unique to BC’s forest industry and help to build strong, sustainable communities.

Our bridging programs follow three phases:

1) Train

Stillwater Consulting delivers customized training based on the needs of your community and the local industry.

2) Mentor

Industry experts supervise, mentor and provide a safe work environment for new trainees during facilitated employment with a local partner. Your trainees will further develop skills, gain experience, and increase their confidence by practically applying what they’ve learned to a real forestry project.

3) Transition

Once trainees have both the skills and experience to complete projects independently, their mentor will gradually transition the project to your organization’s leadership.
